Ride For Hope
History
Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club Station 27 covers North Central Kansas and is based out of Salina, KS area. Station 27 was chartered in 2009 and is made up of career & volunteer Firefighters, EMS personnel and others associated with the profession. Station 27’s first Benefit was held in 2010 for Yvonne Cochran and we have hosted one each year since. We have also branched out to include Toy Drives and Toy Runs for local children, these have been tied to United Way, Schwan's Global Supply, The Ottawa County Ministerial Alliance, and the Salvation Army. Our goal is to benefit our community on and off the job.
Each year our club selects one or more reciepients that are in need of assistance due to cancer or a related illness to be the benefactors of the Ride for Hope. A portion of the proceeds also go to the Salina Regional Health Foundation every year to assist multiple family’s in the Saline County area. The Salina Regional Health Foundation helps Cancer patients out with gas money to get to doctor appointments, wigs, and many other small problems that can arise while dealing with cancer treatments.
We believe that any small ray of hope that we can provide a family during these times is a great deal. That’s what the Ride for Hope is all about.

Want to help with the Ride for Hope???? That’s great! The Ride for Hope is only possible with the support of the community and businesses that support us. Everyone can help by coming out and joining us for the benefit. Any individual or business that wants to get more involved can donate any item that you feel would make a great auction item. If you do not have an auction item, but would still like to help out please consider giving a cash donation, any amount is greatly appreciated.
